Q. What is Text Messaging or SMS?
A. Text messaging is a quick and easy way to stay in touch with your friends and family when it's difficult to talk. You can send a message of up to 160 characters directly to most other wireless phones.
Q. Which phone models are able to use text messaging or SMS?
A. The Text messaging feature is available on all NET10 phone models.
Q. How do I write and send a text message?
A. For instructions on how to create and send a text message, select the "Text Messaging" option located in the "Service & Support" tab on our website or simply click here.
Q. How do I delete a text message?
A. Once the text message is open, the phone will display the option to delete the text message. If it is an older message, proceed to your message inbox and delete the message.
Q. Is the text messaging feature available in my local area?
A. In order to check if your text messaging feature is available, you need to first activate the phone.
Q. Can I send a text message to more than one person at a time?
A. Yes, by entering each person's phone number. A space must be inserted between each entry. Selected phone models also allow you to enter an e-mail address in the destination field.
Q. Can I send international text messages from my NET10 phone?
A. At this time, the NET10 Android LG Optimus Net? (L45C) and LG Optimus Q? (L55C) include unlimited international text messaging at no additional charge with an Unlimited* 30 Day Monthly Plan to the available destinations.
Q. How much does international text messaging cost?
A. No additional cost. International text messages are included in the Unlimited* plan to the available destinations.
Q. How do I send an international text message?
A. Dial 011+ country code + city code + destination number. For example, 011+502+2+2541258.
Using your keypad / keyboard enter 011+contry code + city code + destination.
